Ben Euphrat

Ben has been working on stage and film for the majority of his life. Just a few of his notable theatre roles include “Radames” in Aida, “Ethan”, in The Full Monty, “J. Robert Oppenheimer” in The Love Song of J. Robert Oppenheimer, “The Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswald” in Assassins,“Dan” in Closer, and“Oedipus” in Oedipus. He has also shot a variety of films, web series and commercials and has performed as an improviser for over half a decade, studying with The Groundlings and IO West. On top of performing, Ben is a writer –plays and screenplays–, a musician –drums, guitar and piano–, and even has studied to be a corporeal mime. He is currently working on his own film, “Focus”, and plays with his band “American Studies” all over the Bay Area. Check him out at www.beneuphrat.com.

Molly Gazay

Molly is thrilled to be performing in “Fishing”. Molly has been working as an actress in the Bay Area for the past few years doing an array of theatre and film. Some of her credits include: Maureen in RENT, Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde, ((Royal Underground/Jerica), Angel in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (ATC), Alice in PornoZombies (RTE), Curley’s Wife in Of Mice and Men, An Usherette in A Day in Hollywood, A Night in Ukraine (SP), Spoon Balata in Americana Absurdum (RTE), and Currently she can be seen as Dee Dee Dulce and many other characters in Tony and Tina’s Wedding at Fisherman’s Wharf. Film Credits include: On Hands and Knees, Departures,Gun Shy, Playing for the Masons and Moments in our Country’s History. Matt Ingle

Matt has been performing in the Bay Area for 10 years and most recently performed as Simon Stride in Jekyll & Hyde at the Southside Theater. Other favorite and recent roles include Hamlet in Hamlet, Petya Trofimov in the Cherry Orchard and Jerry Lukowski in The Full Monty. Matt owes his success to the support and understanding of his wife Meghan and son Jacob.

Alex Plant

You might recognize Alex Plant (Mark) from such projects like, “Murder in a Small Town” (National Geographic Channel) or “Abe Lincoln and the Amazing Flying Machine” (The History Channel). If you didn’t see these, then you might know him as “Duggan McDonnely” in the Oscar award-winning movie “Milk”; “Paul” in Stephen Sondheim’s “Company” or as Laertes in “Hamlet”. Alex secrets fears that his greatest accomplishment on stage will be winning “Teen Week” on “Wheel of Fortune” so please tell your friends about this show and buy more tickets. He is blessed to have his loving wife Katy, sleepless son Dylan and steadfast dog Leo in his corner.

Mark Drumm (Director)

Mark is a Bay Area veteran, having Mark’s directing credits include Holiday Memories at Coastal Rep., A Comedy of Errors with Festival Theater Ensemble and A Visit to a Small Planet and The Illusion at Menlo Players Guild. As an actor, Mark has performed in over 1/3 of Shakespeare’s canon. Favorite roles include Doolittle in My Fair Lady, MacMurphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and Jesus in Godspell.

Laurie Burke

Laurie is a native San Franciscan, was brought up in a family of professional actors and musicians (she says it was like being brought up somewhere between Vaudeville and Broadway – everything is a medley). She received her BA in Broadcast Communications/Radio-Television from SFSU and has studied Acting, Singing and Voice Over in Los Angeles, London and at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. She was recently a part of the European Act Program – a program associated with the Royal Academy Theatre in London in which she performed on stage and in film in London, Paris and Berlin. Her credits include TV (Medium, Greys Anatomy); Film (The Kite Runner, The Butler’s in Love, Filter, and Redwoods); Theater (“Amy “ in Stephen Sondheim’s Company, “Gal” in the touring musical production of Just for Laughs, Mary and the Fairy); Commercials (Walmart, Safeway, Nokia, and Extreme Pizza) and Voice Over (She is currently “The Voice” of Google Voice and has lent her vocal talent to various business and animation projects such as Kaiser Permanente, Binder, and First Republic Bank, as well as promos for LA – Channel 36). I am so thankful to have been cast in this wonderful and fun production and to have the extraordinary opportunity to work with such talented people. Carla Pauli

Carla has studied acting at American Conservatory Theater Studio. She has appeared in productions around the Bay Area most recently including Performance Art In Front Of An Audience Ought To Be Entertaining, which showed at San Francisco’s The Marsh. Ms Pauli has also worked with other Bay Area companies, including Woman’s Will, The Threshold Project, Brava, NCTC’s YouthAware, The Quixotic Players, The Playwrights’ Center of San Francisco, The Drama Mamas, Multi-Ethnic Theater, Custom Made Theater and a number of other independent productions.

David J. Duman (playwright)

David’s works include Fishing, Goliath, Five Short Episodes in the Life of Sacagawea, A Second Life, and his collaboration with Meghan Kane, Lobsters in a Pot. In 2009, Fishing was co-produced by No Nude Men Productions at Periscope Cellars in Emeryville, California and was featured in the DGA’s Los Angeles Friday Night Footlights series. Goliath was a 2008 semi-finalist in the Playwrights’ Center of Minneapolis’ PlayLabs and received a workshop reading by Playwrights6 at the Celebration Theatre in Los Angeles. Fishing was a 2008 finalist in Killing My Lobster’s New Play Project and Lobsters in a Pot received the Audience Choice award at the Amnesia 10 Minute Play Contest, a fundrasier for 826 Valencia. He’s a member writer of Los Angeles theatre company Playwrights6. He is a regular contributor to the online pop culture blog The Satellite Show (www.thesatelliteshow.com) and has served as guest editor and contributor to Eater Los Angeles (la.eater.com). He is a graduate of UC Berkeley, has an MFA from San Francisco State University, and is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
